Pre-announcement: Sell signals (2)

2018-11-05

We made an advance notice a few days ago for future sell signals. Currently we are still in alpha phase and it is tested and calculated daily. Initial tests have been very successful and we will continue to optimize to send you the best sell signals.

Here is the first post: Pre-announcement: Sell signals

All in all there will be 2 variants for the Sell Signal-calculation:

1. You can decide in your profile from when a sell signal should be triggered. You decide from when to calculate, how high your tolerance limit is and how high the profit must be.

2. We automatically send sell signal based on our internal Sell Signal calculation which we are currently testing.

How sell signals are calculated? Examples...

Optimal case:

  1. Buy signal is triggered at 100,-
  2. The price rises to 103,-
  3. The stop loss value is generated and set at 100,-
  4. The price drops to 102,-
  5. The stop loss value remains unchanged as the price has fallen.
  6. The price rises to 105,-
  7. The stop loss is increased to 103,- due to the price increase.
  8. The price drops to 104,-
  9. The stop loss value remains unchanged as the price has fallen.
  10. The price continues to drop and hits the stop loss value. Now the sell signal is triggered at 103,-

Broken case:

  1. Buy signal is triggered at 100,-
  2. The price rises to 103,-
  3. The stop loss value is generated and set at 100,-
  4. The price drops to 102,-
  5. The stop loss value remains unchanged as the price has fallen.
  6. The price rises to 105,-
  7. The stop loss is increased to 103,- due to the price increase.
  8. The price drops to 104,-
  9. The stop loss value remains unchanged as the price has fallen.
  10. The price continues to drop and hits the stop loss value. Now the sell signal is triggered at 103,-
  11. However, the price continues to rise to 104, - and
  12. even to 106, - before
  13. The price drops back to 100,- or even less. In this case, the sell signal was already triggered at 103, - and was sold at 3%. The problem is that you theoretically could have reached a price of 106,- , but you could not foresee this.

Invalid case:

  1. Buy signal is triggered at 100,-
  2. The price stays the same at 100,-
  3. The price rises to 103,-
  4. The stop loss value is generated and set at 100,-
  5. The price drops to 102,-
  6. The stop loss value remains unchanged as the price has fallen.
  7. The price drops to 101,-
  8. The stop loss value remains unchanged as the price has fallen.
  9. The price rises to 102,-
  10. The stop loss value remains unchanged because the price has not risen enough (not over 103,-)
  11. The price drops to 101,-
  12. The stop loss value remains unchanged as the price has fallen.
  13. The price continues to drop and hits the stop loss value. Now the sell signal is triggered at 100,- ! In this case, we still do not send a sell signal because no minimum profit has been reached

We thank you for your trust in our service and will keep you updated.
